Contract 

Deposits :

 

Deposits are required for every session and are non-refundable (for any reason other than major equipment malfunction). These deposits secure the date of your photo session or event. An appointment is not approved without a deposit first. A $50 deposit is required to lock in your date and goes towards your final balance. I, LaKeela Smith ,reserve the right to reschedule any session due to photographer illness or personal emergency. If a session cannot be rescheduled due to my own cancellation, I will refund your paid session fee or assist in finding you another photographer. Clients reserve the right to reschedule any portrait session within a three days notice. The deposit can be sent via Venmo : @Lsmith86 Cashapp : $LakeelaSmith Zelle : 5104344130 to finalize your shoot, the remaining balance of the package is due on the day of the photoshoot. Services will not be continued if the full payment of the deposit has not been made or the client does not show up with the agreed amount of the payment. I, ( model’s full legal name ), hereby fully understand and agree to these terms and conditions.

 

Editing and Credit :

 

Edits will be return to you within 1-4 weeks after you send over the images you would like to be edited.

 

When posting images on social media all (everyone involved in the project) parties must be credited to which it may be applied. I, ( model’s name ), waive any ownership and publication right that I , ( model’s name ), hereby relinquishes any right that I may have to examine or approve the finished picture or pictures and the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in connection with an image that LaKeela Smith Photography has taken of me, or the use might be entitled of- in connection with the pictures, with the exception of the personal use of the pictures as part of a personal modeling portfolio. I, ( model’s name ), agree that I have no right to sell, license or publish any of the pictures to any person or entity. I, ( model’s name ), understand and agree to not alter or edit in anyway, the finished picture LaKeela Smith Photography sends me. I , ( model’s name ), understand if I violate any of LaKeela Smith Photography’s terms and conditions I am liable to a lawsuit and will be taken to court. 

 

 

 

 

 

Basic Touchup: 

 

All final images include basic retouching, which include the removal of minor blemishes, small spots or scratches, small bruises, or single stray hairs. Anything beyond that is considered extensive retouching, and is subject to an additional artwork fee ($25 per hr). 

 

 

Proofs:

 

Proofs will be sent 1-3 days after your shoot via a Smugmug link. After a follow up email  ( 5-7 images per look ) will be chosen by the model, and/or any company or party present.

 

Location:

 

Outdoor sessions may depend on weather conditions and may otherwise need to be rescheduled. If a permit is required to conduct a session in a model and/or company’s desired location, the model and/or company will be responsible for obtaining the permit and any costs involved. Location outside a 25-mile radius of the studio are subject to ( $2 per mile ). Multiple locations will incur a fee of $25 per additional location (unless otherwise agreed upon by LaKeela Smith). 

 

 

Arrival:

The photo session or event will begin at the agreed upon time scheduled. I , ( model’s name ), understand if I am 30 mins late, the session or event will not proceed (unless communicated otherwise) and I will not get my deposit back. I , ( model’s name ), understand that if my session goes over the given time frame it was scheduled for I will be charged ( $75 ), with the exclusion of viewing and choosing proofs. The model and/or company will be charged for arriving late if they would like to continue their shoot. It will be a $50 late fee. All responsibility lies on the person who scheduled the appointment, this includes any extra late fee charges.

 

 

Hair/Makeup :

 

Hair and makeup must be completed upon arrival, with the exception of collaborative Trade For Print (TFP). I, ( model’s name ) understand if hair and makeup is not photo ready, with the exception of short touch ups, I, the model and/or company could be charged ). If the model cannot provide/find a makeup artist it must be communicated at least (3 days) before the shoot, so I , LaKeela Smith , can notify my makeup artist beforehand. The makeup artist provided to you, the model, will have their own separate service fee. I, LaKeela Smith am not responsible for the provided makeup artist’s service fee. 

 

Refunds:

I , ( model’s name ), understand that refunds are not given for photo sessions or events, and reshoots are only offered for specific situations that LaKeela Smith and the model agree to. Reviewing your photos as the photos are being taken during the photoshoot are encouraged. After the shoot is complete, no other changes can be made and additional photos will be taken. 

 

 

Rates:

 

1 outfit $150 

2 outfits $200 

3 outfits $250 

4 outfits $300 

 

Each package comes with 5-7 edited photos per look.

Any requests for additional pictures is $10 per image fee
